Who: Revive Life House and Ignite Church
What: A 5K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run
When: Saturday, July 11th, 9 a.m.
Where: Nicholasville, Ky
Why: To bring families together in spirited competition and provide a fun, family friendly community event in Nicholasville while raising funds for the Revive Life House and Ignite Church Youth Group.
Additional: We encourage everyone to dress up as their favorite superhero for the race. This is not necessary but we hope you do!
THE CAUSE Revive Life House:
The Revive Life House (RLH) is an extension of Revive Ministries (founded in Nicholasville in 2014). Did you know that Kentucky has the third highest drug overdoes mortality rate in all the United States? We are combating this epidemic head on! RLH will offer a safe place to those who are struggling with addictions and will give opportunities for individuals to serve through various means such as bible studies, classes, one-on-one mentoring and much more. Individuals will be able to flourish during different phases with the end result being independently equipped to tackle each day sober and having a purpose in life once again!
Ignite Church Youth:
The Ignite Youth carries the Gospel outside of the church. Our goal is to Ignite Hope in the lives of those who have lost it during life's journey. It is imperative that we help give a voice back to our community through meeting the basic needs. The heartbeat of this program is to give under privileged teenagers opportunities to, take trips, receive new cloths, shoes, etc. for free and experience a hope filled life in a safe environment.
